I don't think I ever commented on your tire carrier build, but I like what you did there. That was a creative way to solve the problem, and I like how you integrated the carrier with your stock setup.
Also, it's crazy how much of a difference it made having that link disconnected in terms of your front end flex. That front tire stuffs way up there without the sway bar holding it back. Did you get a chance to test it out w/the longer links and compare the results?
RE the shocks, you said that you lost uptravel, so I assume that the shock is now your limiting factor as far as uptravel goes. You might want to consider some longer bumpstops if that's the case.
