Might get another one.

Well only two months after purchasing a 4runner, I have decided that I need 1. a V8 and 2 4wd, so I can actually use the vehicle for what it is designed for. The dealership up the road has a beautiful 04 sport, that I think I can get my hands on if the price is right. We are still dancing around the invoice price, but I know that there is more to give on it. So maybe soon I can meet up with some of the GA boys and do a little trail riding.

I have a 2004 SR5 2wd V6, that will be for sale soon if anyone is interested. :)

Ouch...you're gonna take a beating on resale value!

Good luck!

I dont think it will be too bad because I got a really good deal on it, I got it for around 2k less than the "invoice price" so it wont be too bad. I do plan on losing a little though.

I am sorry to hear about not being satisfied with your 2WD 4Runner. Here in Atlanta, most of the 4Runners sold are 2WD. I must say for me, I am happy with my 2WD.

Are you going back to Cobb County Toyota or another dealer? Here is a link to a GA off road club:

I don't know if there any good or even still operating. Good luck in your purchase and selling of your 4Runner.

I never said that I wasnt satisfied, I just want a little extra, I am looking into getting another one so it is not the 4runner, it is the equipment. Anyways I am just still looking so I may end up staying with the one that I have now. I love the truck though, it has been good to me so far. As far as going back to Cobb County, it all depends if they want to deal or not. I have no loyalty to anyone because they gave me a good deal before, but if the price is right again, then yes I would buy again.

FYI - you are not the only one who wishes they made different choices at the dealership. I would have loved to have gotten the v8 knowing now that there are no plans for a 4.0 v6 supercharger.

So there are no plans for a V6 supercharger? dang. I am still waiting on some financing info to come my way about the new v8, should know pretty soon though. Where did you find out that there are no plans for a v6 supercharger?

since the 05 tacoma will also have the V6 and they offer a supercharger on cars like the matrix, I think a V6 supercharger will come one of these days.

I don't know why that's a big deal for you guys. A supercharger is what, $4,000?
I can think of a lot better ways to spend 4 large

Well I am not going to get another one now, I could not get the rate that I wanted on the loan so I am going to pull back and enjoy my current 4runner (probably what I should have done all along.)

Something might come along that is better. But it is hard to buy a new vehicle and then decide to sell it and not take a big hit. Looking back at some of my cars, there are a few where I should of dumped them before I got them, but of course that is hindsight.

Well like I said before it is nothing wrong with it, I just wish I would have gotten a V8 and 4wd. I guess I will just have to make due with the brand new car I just bought two months ago..... :).
