Mikey's Build Thread...

Cleaned her off today and got her shinny. This is how she stands as of today.

I got some carbon fiber vinyl for the GOBI faring then going to give it a little personality after that. Wish me luck on laying it down nicely.

Nice!! I put some leftover matte black vinyl on mine so I could cover up the sticker already on it. Now if I ever get tired of my stickers I can just pull off the vinyl and start over.

Its funny but after installing my Gobi I was a little nervous for the first few storms too. We have had a few heavy rains and I washed it a and no leaks! Probably many thanks are owed to this forum helping insure I sealed the right spots etc. Just waiting on my ladder and light bars...

Looking good Mikey!

A couple of days sitting in the rain and it appears i have NO leaks!

Can't wait to get it dirty again.

Yeah I was nervous the past few days and I did take it through a hand car wash. But all seems well. I just was in touch with VisionX about getting a light bar, so that might come sooner then later.

loving the truck! In fact, been talking to 4x4 labs about ordering up that bumper. Does it have the factory hookups for trailers still? One thing I forgot to ask him... I know you said in an earlier post you are unsure of tow rating and it does have the receiver. Thanks, hope you don't mind the copycat build I have going (although I never intended to change much on my truck when purchased!). Been suckered in my impressive builds like this one.

Got my shipping notification for my skid plates!!!!! Should be here on the 19th. I guess I know what I will be doing the following weekend!

:lookout:

Getting closer to the end...

I feel the end of my build, at least major stuff, is coming to an end.

Picked me up some fancy lights for the rear today.

They are the SR-6 in the hybrid flood pattern. Just need to butcher the wiring harnesses and make my own with a relay and get them turned on.

Got to figure out what I am going to do with the front.

Skids should be here tomorrow and will go on next weekend. I am dying to get this thing in the dirt soon.
