Mikey's Build Thread...

Sick lights! Can't wait to fab a light bar next year!

You get wheels for that FR-S yet?

Nope still searching. Have found one set that I like, let me find a picture...

Works Wheels Emotion CR Ultimate, and of Course in black, 18". I told myself I would not modify it and well, that did not last. LOL. I am actually waiting for Vortech to get their supercharger system CA Smog legal. Which I was told by the end of the year. Gives me time for wheels and suspension work. Then I "should" be done.

Do you have a build on the ft-86 forum?

Seems like my updates are coming slower and slower these days. Must be that my build is getting close to completion. Today finally got the rear Rigids wired up. Built my own harness and decided to use a relay, even though the Rigid harnesses did not have one. And low and behold it worked.

The skids most likely will be done next weekend, or the following. Then just need to decided on which bar to go with up front and wire that up. The only thing left after that is WHEEL IT LIKE I STOLE IT! And maintenance of course.

Things left on the build.

Front light bar on the rood
Winch
Dual battery set up
Re gear with lockers
34-35s

Can't think of much else, unless I do stereo work.

I will try to get some night shots of the lights tonight.

Nice FR-S build you have going, can't wait to see it with the Emotions! The truck is okay too I guess :bolt:

Both sick sick rides sir :yo:

Out of curiosity, and maybe it's just the angle of the picture, but do the police hassle you at all for blocking the drivers side taillight?

It's the angle. Although it is blocked a tad.

winding down....

Got the skids on today, minus the gas tank. Not really a hard install just a pain in the but angle for tightening everything.

Probably do the gas tank next weekend. Seems like a bigger project but I haven't read the directions yet.

Even more reason to go wheel now!

Oh and it is amazing how much mud is still underneath my truck!!!! LOL!

I really like how those sliders hug the body. Some slides out there almost look like running boards. How much room is in between the slider and the body?

I may have already asked you but I can't remember, can the spare still be in the stock location with that rear bumper?

I don't think so as this bumper requires removal of the rear member and even if I could the spare would hang significantly lower than the bumper since it essentially goes all the way up to the frame. I have some pics of the underside on mine and I don't think it would go there.
