Installed some LC 7.5 wraps today. Wasn't too difficult of a job. Getting the first coil in was harder, had to use spring compressors to get it in. The other side was easier, just jacked up the opposite side of the axle. Gave me a good amount of rake, not too bad, but enough for me to get some 5100s for the front.

Now measures 24" on both sides from center of hub to fender. Rides well, cushy, but not too bouncy. I think they pair well with the OME 60028s.

Tires look a little small now..plan on getting some 285 70 17s in the next few weeks.

Nice looking 4Runner. I'm in the Indy area too, currently in Camby. I would possibly be interested in a get together just depends on my work schedule.

Thanks guys. I actually sold the 906s and used that money to get these LCs. I plan on getting 5100s, but may get some top plate spacers for now. I like the ride of the fronts, and top plates dont pre compress the coil, so the ride won't change.
That's awesome that more and more Indy people are showing up. I'm just south of Beech Grove, and there are 5 or 6 more guys around Indy area. I'm trying to get some people together next weekend for the 4Wheel Jamboree, I'll shoot you some info.

Damn dude! You weren't wasting time getting those in! How do you like them? I think the TRD/LC combo rides close to stock. My other 4runner has coil spacers, and my new one has the TRD/LC lift. The TRD/LC lift rides way better than the spacers, so I'm assuming it rides pretty close to stock.

Ya, I put them in after work. I was riding the stock coils so I needed them in! The ride is better than the stock I had, that's for sure.

Little update. Installed LC 7.5 wraps in the rear and added a Daystar top plate spacer up front. Got an additional 2" in back and 1" up front. It sits just how I want it!
The front is now at 23 1/8" from hub to fender. The back is 24 1/4" from hub to fender.

Next up is new wheels and tires...going with 17" Level 8 Strike 6s in machined finish and 33" BFG Rugged Terrains...

Then doing a little maintenance.

Went on a little wheeling trip with Jmildoc and Dark Lord today. Pretty neat place, old logging roads. None of us had too much trouble, but one section everyone got squirrely. Some pics for now...

Got some new wheels and tires this week. 16" Level 8 Strike 6 and 33" Falken Rocky Mountains. So far I like them...pretty quiet, good in rain, and not too shabby looking.

Also have some sliders on the way. Picked them up from Champ1415. Pics to come when they are installed.

Also, picked up another 4Runner. This one is for my wife. Sold her Escape, which I didn't like, and found this in Illinois. Excellent shape, high miles, but otherwise one of the better 4Runners I've seen around here.

Great choice on the new wheel/tire setup. Those have always been one of my favorites. I like the polished version better on your rig too, I think it works way better than the black version would have. I know a guy that runs those tires on a full size Chevy and he's been happy with them.

Congrats on the new purchase for your Wife. That thing is clean for having high miles, it's even sparkling in both of the photos.

Thanks guys. Ya I've never been a huge fan of black wheels on light runners...seem dirty all the time. Plus she's a street queen for the most part, likes to be shiny. My dad has these tires on his Wrangler and has nothing bad to say about them.

It's got 280k, but he just dropped about 3k on maintenance. Timing belt and water pump, axel seals, drums, front brakes, tires, battery, damn near the works. I don't mind the miles too much since it's been well taken care of. She doesn't drive a whole lot, so it should work out great for her. I'm jealous though, it's got an elocker!

The leather seat with 280,XXX miles looked better than mine with 101,000 on it. My cousin is borrowing my 4runner at the moment, so who knows how bad the seat has gotten.

I actually think the gold emblems look good on it.

Other than the minor surface rust in the engine bay and the dirty brake fluid, it looks great. I am puzzled by the numbers on the frame in front of the air box though.

Ya it's not perfect, but it'll do. Those numbers are the dates the TB/WP were changed apparently. The guys dad owns a hot rod garage and the work was done there. I guess they wrote it on there instead of getting a sticker on the cover.
