Mini Build Thread for my '11 4Runner LTD

I sold my 1997 4Runner Limited this summer (bought it new and drove it for 14 years and ~200k miles) and bought a 2011 Limited. Before I took it home, I had a Toytec 3" spacer lift installed as well as 20" Ultra Gauntlets and 285/60/R20 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs put on. It required A LOT of cutting to have nearly rub-free performance.

I also tinted the front windows to match (only in the last picture) and put in Weathertech mats in all three rows. My Limited has 4x4, Nav and a 3rd row.

Overall very happy with the vehicle and mods.

Looks Awesome!

If I may ask, the dealer installed the lift, and what did they charge you to do this install? Also, it had no impact on the XREAS?

Thanks so much.

Hi - I paid $320, including the alignment, which they comped me on because they were including one free alignment with purchase as part of their quality assurance package. I thought that was a great rate (all-in) given how much time they spent on it (including cutting the wheel liners to make the tires fit).

The other part of the question to which I'm curious about is did it affect the XREAS set up?

Also, the space lifters, did you buy them through toyota or outside?

Lastly :), did you ask them about warranty issues? Does this void any of the warranty? I ask cause I paid for & have the extended warranty.

Thanks

Could you tell me how the tires affected your gas mileage overall average?
I love the wheels and tires, they look great!

No impact to XREAS. I had read so much on this forum about problematic XREAS installs that I was super cautious and overanalyzed it for them. They said it wasn't a big deal and showed me how they simply unhooked it and rehooked it up. No problem. No leakage, etc.

Bought the spacers and rear coils from Toytec in black (BEST SELLER! 3" FJ Lift Kit w/spacers and rear ToyTec coils - Toytec Lifts: Toyota Lift Kits: FJ Cruiser Lift Kits, Tacoma Lift Kits, Tundra Lift Kits, 4 Runner Lift Kits, Sequoia Lift Kits, Toyota Truck Lift Kits)

I asked them about warranty and they basically said they couldn't make any promises. But I knew having the lift done by them gave me much more confidence should there be any problems in the future. And many on this board advised me that the Magnusson Act had my back in this situation. Plus, my brother had a lift done on his Tacoma and has had it back to the same dealership for warranty work with no issues (granted, nothing suspension related).

I don't know how much they have affected gas mileage as I never had the truck "pre-lift". I am getting about 16.5 city (which doesn't seem much under the 17 EPA estimate) and honestly haven't done a full-on highway trip yet. Will post more when I've done that.
