FYI...it's a group of Subies that I'm tagging along with. I am the only 4Runner going along so far. The Subies welcomed me with open arms. These are good Christian folks and are pretty well-mannered.

So you will be expected to be on your best behavior if you would like to tag along. Then we can talk about doing more events and starting a 4Runner group or joining an already-existing local group.

It will be a caravan of 15-20. Then the Subie group may also meet with a Jeep group.

Let's tear up some mud!!!

Hey everyone, I got a couple of positive responses. I am likely going to Camp overnight in Mankato and drive to Appleton as early as possible, probably showing up there around 9:30AM. If you are interested in going, PM me. I have a fire extinguisher, tow strap, winch, etc.

I think I will be able to make it. Driving from Chanhassen so hopefully can be there around 9:30 as well. Looks like rain on Saturday so should be a fun day!

Hey guys. I’m new to Minnesota, and just got my 4runner not too long ago. I put my lift on 10/21/17, and am anxious to get out wheeling. I was doing research online and came across this group here. Would love to meet up sometime.

Recently, On the highway I passed a 4th gen galactic gray 4runner (just like mine), he was lifted with a Demello front bumper, some rock sliders, and what looked like a Baja rack. Anyone know who that might be? Or if they are on the forum?

Welcome! Always nice to see fellow Minnesotan's. There's a FB group if you wanna join on there (MN 4Runners). There isn't much chatter tho. Not too many enthusiast's altho you see many T4R's around.

Yep. Fun times. Some low spots. Gets a little wet after rain. Don’t go without a diff breather and expect some Rocky Mountain pinstripes.

Anyway to avoid the low spots? I’ve had a to do list this summer and diff breather was way low on the list lol.

There is a mixed orm, atv, ohv section which is pretty open and wasn’t too wet. There are lots of obstacles there and paired trails to avoid unwanted water and/or obstacles. The part of the park only for trucks on the other side of the highway was very wet this fall.... like 10-18 inches of standing water along miles of trail which is tight, one-way, brush packed. You can only go forward. I imagine the truck park will be better when it is dry. Between now and then stay in the mixed park.

Breather costs $76 and takes 1.5hrs to install. The front diff and everything else is vented under the hood. You only need to do the rear. At that cost it is a good project to do between other expensive projects, and beats the hell out of sucking water into the rear diff every time you go in over the rims and having to change the oil.... or having your gears corrode prematurely. If you need a hand let me know.

Hey everybody. I've browsed t4r.org for years and finally just started to get involved on the forums themselves. I sold my old Runner last month (almost cried) and picked up a 2018 TRD ORP. Want to find some local people to rip it up with. Also, I have only done small superficial mods in the past, but I'm looking to go all out now.

For how many 4Runners I see out on the roads, I'm surprised there aren't more people on here. Seems like it's been a while since there's been activity but I'm always down to meet some cool people & swap ideas.
