when installing spark plugs get out magnifying glass and look for any defects .. also if they are dropped on hard ground good chance they will crack..
on plug install do not tilt the plug socket / use a plug socket ...
I remove and install spark plugs on my inboard boat engine 2X a year for storage .. 2 plugs are in a tight spot so using the rubber insert in the plug socket does work to prevent damage..
IMO iridium plugs will last 100k-130k depends on how the vehicle is used .. traffic use mostly 100K,, hywy use 130K ,,.
the best plugs I have used is iridium ..they take the high heat tips look perfect ..
