Missing parts! Roof rack rear cover questions...

My new-to-me 2010 T4R is missing both (LH and RH) rear factory roof rack covers. Oh the huge manatee!

Anyhow, upon looking over a few OEM parts sites, I'm finding there are a few options. Sunroof (I have a sunroof), "HEAVY DUTY", and "HIGH GROSS" which I'm reading in an Asian accent as GLOSS.

So my truck is an SR5, nothing fancy, but these covers are painted silver (is that high gloss?? BUT the high gloss says "limited" but from what I'm seeing online my rack is the same as a limited...). Then comes the question of it being heavy duty- I have no idea?

I THINK I have it narrowed down to these part numbers, anyone care to comment?

It seems interesting to me that ONLY these two PNs for high gloss are available on ebay. Maybe these are more common?

Maybe if someone has deleted their rack, they have parts laying around? :wave:

I think the Heavy Duty might be referring to the trail roof rack? IIRC it has a higher rating weight wise. And it is a flat black color. So I would think it is the High Gloss ones. I have mine off as I have a Gobi on, But I don't think I can part with just the cover as then I could not sell my rack. Did you buy it from a dealer or private party? If from a dealer they should have fixed that.

It was a dealer buy, but its my fault for not noticing they were missing when I picked it up. I'm not mad! I was more focused on getting it on a lift and poking around underneath- not looking up on the roof. Everything else on the truck is 110%, I'll get over spending a couple bucks on little covers. No biggie.

Ha! I definitely clicked that first link and thought "this isn't what I need..." then it hit me. Well played! If I had a use for a big basket like that, I'd go for it!
