Mistaken's 4Runner build & pic thread

Are those the cooper ATP ?

On a side note I clicked on your photo which brought up your photo bucket, well I assume it's your photo list, if it is you might want to check it out, if that's your girl your a lucky guy.

Yeah, sorry. ATP's.

Haha! Whoops!!!

Is that as far as you got? We need some detailed pictures of the process and the final results!

In 2 weeks I might have a free day to work on getting mine installed.

No, I got it all done but didnt snap any "after" pics. I will do that soon though.

The install is super straight forward and easy. On the first side, I installed the bracket after having the slider on jack stands where I wanted it and it was a tight fit. But the second side, I loosely put the brackets on and just angled the bracket under the lines and it was much easier. Then it was just tighten and done. :fro:

On another note, I did manage to cut the hell out of my finger as a deep gouge was in the metal on one of the sliders, not sure if it was from me or not but oh well, and I didnt notice it till it was too late. Only I would cut my finger so bad bolting on some sliders... :redbrick:

I need to pay off 2014 bills first. haha. =)
I was trying not to spend anything this year for the 4runner but don't think that will happen... I need to disconnect my internet service and 4g service and not get onto this forum first! lol.
Well, just replace my interior with led's, next I'm trying very hard to resist but you may see a Gobi rack by summer and depending on price, a possible TRD pro front skid. I really want to lift the truck but holding back until i break 20-30K miles before doing so....we will see.......=/

Ha! I dig the LED swap for interior. I want to do that eventually too. What kit you looking at? I would also love a rack and ladder setup but that's too much $$$ for me right now. No lift for me however. So that'll be the difference. Haha

The sliders look great! Sorry about the finger, hope it's OK. I always say it's not a real project unless there's some blood involved. I went a little overboard with a fireplace mantel I've been building and needed 12 stitches.

See this thread http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/182662-led-swap-lights-tools-steps-pictures.html. Lots of good information there on a very reasonably priced swap. I'm happy with it.

I'd also like to get a rack. Probably either the Gobi or drabbits. I haul a lot of 8 - 10ft boards and the factory crossbars seem a little to closely spaced for that.

Great! I will check that out. Thanks!

I want a rack for a couple reasons... I dig how it looks and also would like to think that I would feel obligated to load it up and go exploring with my family. :)
