Mistaken's 4Runner build & pic thread

[Mistaken]

Well I figured I would start a thread to document little mods here and there on my 2011 4Runner limited. I made the switch from my 2006 mitsubishi lancer evolution due to, well, growing up I assume. I'm very happy with the change and love this thing already. I typically take great care of my vehicles and plan to do the same with this. I will mod it, lightly, and tend to do so with lots of research and reading from forums such as this. I appreciate all the great info this forum has to offer and look forward to using it as I mod my 4Runner here and there.

Here is my previous car:





It went through a lot of changes and eventually became what I invisioned but that vision wasn't very daily driver friendly. So on to the next...

With just some tint on the front windows.



Then some AVS window visors.



Then grabbed these off Craig's List for $150.



Cleaned them up and installed.



Added some wheels and a shorty antenna since.



I ordered some sliders from metal tech and should have them on in a few weeks.

Looks good, are you planning to keep the chrome? (wasn't sure if you are taking the black wheels all the way to the roof rack, trim etc)

Im undecided on that at the moment. I'm looking into doing a 2014/2015 Limited front end swap, but thats up in the air. If I do that then I probably will black out the chrome with plasti-dip. Otherwise, I think it works for now.

What size tires on the nt03s. Your Evo is low. Using two different bumpers Huh. I use mine on road courses. I can't go that low or I'll be dragging the downpipe a lot. I love when my twin gates open up and hiss!

Those tires were 255/35/18's. Yeah it was super low, I loved it that way. I went from the Oem 9 bumper to a nose chopped 8 bumper with the Do Luck carbon lip.

Yeah? I ordered them for a couple reasons... First, I dig how they look and second, they will be used to help my 7 year old son with getting in the truck. :biggrin1:

I'm thinking of adding an LED kit and also a front skid. Not sure what front skid plates work well with a Limited though.

so those wheels are BR sidewinder so I presumed, but I can't make out the tire info, 275/55? Are those cooper's? Looks nice
