Mixing stock with Icon

So.. I installed a Icon stage 1 and 285's, 2012 T4R TE w/ KDSS. The problem I am having is twofold -

- The wife hates it (she's short)
- the rear end still sticks up a good 2 or 3 inches higher than the front, I hate the stinkbug look.

I'm thinking of compromising and replacing the Icon rear coils with the stock springs to level it, but keeping the Icon shocks installed on the rear. Any major issues with doing this? Will I "bottom out" the Icons? I'm hoping by doing this I can bring the rear end down a couple inches to level it out and possibly appease the wife in the process. Thoughts?

I had considered doing this with another build I had. I don't see you having an issue but I'm sure others would chime in.

I ended up going with a custom coil from CSS for an additional 1" over stock with the spring rate you have now (218lbs). I was happy with them until I got a rear bumper.

how long have they been installed? Have you let them settle yet? I ended up with about 2.25 to 2.5 inches of lift in the rear on mine and that is with the added weight of a 3rd row which is why I think I got more lift. Might want to put some weight in and break them in first and see how they settle.
 
Thanks for the replies, the lift has been on a bout a month. I have no third seat and no after market bumpers, just an big fat lazy Lab that rides in the back occasionally.
 
There will be rake on these vehicles. When it's lifted, it becomes a bit more noticeable. As far as using the aftermarket shocks with the oem rear springs, I'm sure you can get away with it but the valving is probably a bit different and may not play well with the stock springs. Give it a try though.
 
Also, you will want to make sure you're not going to bottom out your shock as the length isn't matched accordingly to the stock spring height, rather the two inch rear spring.
