Well I figured its a slow night tonight so I figured might as well start to build one of these suckers.




2003 4Runner SE 4.0v6 with 96k on the clock when I got it.


Already has 4.88 gearing
Shrockworks front and rear swing out.


PIAA fogs wired to stock fog switch
ARB rear locker
ARB compressor mounted underhood
Full belly skidplates
Sliders
Rear cargo storage drawers


Upgraded sterio
Dual battery set up
O and some Kc driving lights(suck ass)

This isn't my first toyota. I had a 97 tacoma that I used to go play with and had slightly modded


Toytec lift


, some wheels and tires (obviously)

then got into a little wreck due to some very icey roads.



Got her rebuilt and decided I wasn't dealing with that again so I got a DIY relentless bumper, a magnaflow ehaust and afe intake.




Also had plenty of lights on it.


Rigid D2s for fog lights and HID converted hella 500's in 55w 6000K, had a set of 3000k I would use in the winter.


Got some new wheels and tires for a steal so figured why not.



Then I bought an 07 audi A3...was traveling alot for work during the summer when not in school.


Kept it mostly stock, plastidip and an intake was all. Still a pretty awesome car.


Sold that and got my current baby.

Well as is tradition the modding didn't take long. Found a deal on a 50" CREE dual row LED light bar. I used some Slag off-road brackets to mount it above the windshield. Didn't take to many photos of the actual install, I am gonna rewire a few things tomorrow hopefully as it suddenly stopped working (pretty sure I pulled a wire apart on accident) so I will try to get some more.

A little photo of the glare on the hood. It honestly isn't that bad or noticable, might be because of the grey color. Honestly the only time anyone should be using one of these they will be going slow enough that the glare wont effect anything.

Wow, that's a pretty sweet ready-to-go rig !

I still miss my audi in the rain and winter, that sucker was a blast !

Ya I enjoyed the Audi quiet a bit. I could definately see owning one again, more like a s4 or s6 thought. The runner has been great to me so far, hopefully gonna do some exploring tomorrow and some light shooting (gotta teach the gf how to shoot an AR).

Saw your rig parked out front of the S&E this past Friday. Drooled over it for a few minutes. I'm a freshman living in Centennial Hall right now, going into mechanical engineering. I've got a stock 99 4Runner, just order myself a Shrockworks front bumper for it, and stoked to get started on my built. Anyways, if you ever need a hand or a wheeling buddy, let me know for sure.

Thanks, I bet I had seen your running around with the new bumper. Wish I had seen this sooner lol I live in Wyoming now, just graduated. But Im a Butte native so im sure to be back a bunch.

Check out the Montana Thread on Tacomaworld. There are some locals that hand out in there more. Im on there more often as well.
