I am trying to get some more range on my hand held scanner. I know that you cannot use the regular CB antenna for these, so I have just ordered the MSM3 antenna from Firestik for my scanner. Will the Firestik door jamb mounts still work for this antenna? I am wanting to mount this either to the rear hatch, or the rear bumper area. Low profile but I want to open my hatch too. I've looked at most peoples threads here and they don't really give a specific name for the mounts they use, where I am wanting to mount them. Any information/advice would be great!
