Modify LC coils?

In the process of putting together a lift and have some used LC coils on the way. The are actually lexus coils 8.75 I think color code white/yel/blue and white/yel/green. I think these may sit little too tall for my liking. has anyone ever modified these things or cut them down to see if it would work. Or pre compress them somehow. Just a thought. If I dont like them guess I can trade for some smaller ones. I will be putting them with the tundra adj fronts.

I would trade/sell them. Cutting them will alter spring rate; trying to precompress them probably wont work and will weaken their rebound rate.

Are the too tall? How many miles are on them?

I did the same thing. I ended up having to buy a set of 7.5 wraps and sell the 8.75 because I couldn't find anyone that wanted to trade at the time. Good luck!
