Moisture in Light Bar

Noticed moisture in my light bar, which is pretty strange because it hasn't rained in a bit. Then I went to turn it on, and it seems like the thing is done for. Any ideas what could cause this? I plan on replacing it and would love to know how to avoid it in the future.

Also, is it difficult to un-wire the current light bar? I did not wire it originally but would love to unwire it myself so I can learn do all my future wiring myself. And I'm assuming that I have to use a whole new wiring harness on my next light bar?

Was it some cheap knock off brand? I had my rigid on my truck over 4 years without a single hiccup before I sold it

It's two wires, power and ground and the harness you have installed will power any other bar fine. Just unbolt it, snip the wires off, bolt in the new one and reconnect the wires, done.
