I installed the Moog BJs on the LCA back in Jan and noticed that the boot doesn't seem to cover the critical areas too well once the wheel droops down. This is happening on both lower BJs and I don't think this is defect, perhaps that's how the Moog operates? The boots simply lift away and exposes the greasy areas. Guess I can just pump fresh grease and push out the contaminated grease but it's a weird design. I'm used to the boots covering the greasy areas like the oem BJs do and not slide up on full droop.
Has anyone else experiencing this issue? Simply jack up your rig with the front cross member and let the wheels droop and see if you notice the same thing.
I guess this thread is more for informational purposes than to solve a specific issue. I just wanted to get some warm and fuzzy with these BJs with folks who have abused them properly. Meh.
