E Bay, bout $40. They are the best I've found. They give a nice sharp cut off. Those cheap housings just "thow" the light out, no direction at all. These put it where it needs to be.

I have done this mod on a few cars for people. Can you post a link to the Ebay seller you used? A HID conversion is one of the mods I still have to do on my 88 I am restoring

Cool....I have a K&N drop in filter in the OEM air box that seems to work pretty well but, I do plan to build an aluminum air box that will pull more cold air.
I'll do a step by step on that if people want.....

I totally agree, every year we lose more and more vendor/aftermarket support for the 1st and 2nd gen 4runners. It won't be long until you have to either be or employ a full time fabricator to keep yourself in parts.

No, you do not need them, you already have a composite style head light. To do a HID conversion. All you need is a good HID kit (bulbs and ballets) and you are good to go

WOW!!! Yeah even if it's my thread I agree.....there should sticky's for this simple stuff.
Mods that are worth their weight in gold, and Cheap, should not be lost!!! And I have a wealth of them too, I have been doing small easy mods like this for years.
ANYONE can install a cam.......headlights......c'mon. Easy, intake.....jeez. :beer: Anyways.......
