Installed the Morimoto Modpod drl switchbacks in place of the factory fog lights. One of my stock lens was cracked so decided to try something different.

Utilized the OEM mounting bracket and made a mounting plate out of aluminum flat stock. This allows me to aim them up or down.

Wired them into a switched power fuse ( heated seats) for power, and tap'd the turn signal for the switchback function.

They are very bright in person.

Video below, you don't see them pulse in person, just an attribute of leds and frame rates.

Looks good! Switchbacks are pretty neat.

Are you planning to make a filler panel to eliminate the gap around the new lights and the stock opening?

No, there's not much gap, but could be done easily if one desired.
