Could you check if your DRL strip flickers/dims when you press firmly on the brakes? I just noticed this with my set in my garage this morning. Only happened when I press firmly on the brakes. I can see it just by looking at the ambient light against the wall in my garage when the DRLs are on.

I will check it. What year is yours? Do you have any aftermarket stereo system? What was the last time you replaced your battery?

2018, yes I have sub and amp and a winch, battery is just fine. The sub was barely on when I tested this, AND they don’t dim at all when the radio is cranked. I have no idea why this dimming and the brakes being pushed firmly would be a thing. I’m pretty stumped. It’s just the DRL bar, not the headlights.

Yes I do. It happens while in DRL mode and headlight on mode.

Ok I just tried and mine and doesn't do that. I suspect that you do not have enough battery power. check this thread .

Apparently you need those good AGM batteries. Something higher than 800 CCA
I wonder why though? I’ll have to check voltages to see what is going on. My battery has never given me an issue at all.
EDIT: after reading the threads, it seems like many have a similar issue. It also seems like many couldn’t fix it. I know it is related to the brake booster engaging since it only happens when the vehicle is running. A battery upgrade may be in my future.
