I may get a parts 4runner this week end. It's silver with a black top, with the Quarter windows on the doors. It's in a impound lot, so I don't have all the info yet. What are the parts worth keeping or selling? What would sell quicker?
I myself have been looking for the rear bumper corners for a while. So I'd be keeping those. I'd be Cutting the rear fender arches, or whole quarter panels. And keeping the tail gate most likely. Under the hood I'd keep the igniter & coil. Maybe the AC condencer and pump. So what other parts are worth keeping or selling? I'd have to scrap it pretty quick and don't have that much room.

depends on how good the interior is and is its a SFA or not... even IFS can sell the cvs if they are in good shape, but depends if anything is worth taking

Money makers are uncracked dash board. Uncracked HVAC panel, and the clinometer. If the interiors clean, chances are some one wants it.

Running gear (engine, trannys, axles/gears) usually get sold off up in my area pretty quick as well as any rust free body panels. (And if the back window works, you can get some $$ for that if its in good shape)

Trans, t-case, front drv shft, diffs, misc interior parts and glass, fg shell.
Just depends on what you have room to store until you sell it.

I don't know when I will be cleared, the DMV is seriously backed up by the budget cuts.
But do like topless87 and make a wish list, because once it's mine I will have to part it out lightning quick or pass it on as a leftovers parts truck to some one local.

If it's a 5speed I want the trim around the shifter, dash cap if it's in good condition, and if you're not opposed to cutting I will take the passenger side inner fender where the battery tray is (about a 6 inch radius surrounding the battery tray).

I will definitely be cutting, the whole reason why I'm getting it is to cut rust patches for my 4runner. I've been waiting for 2 weeks now, I hope this happens before Christmas.
