I want to add a cbi bumper no swingout which is about 130 ish pounds

My question is will the stock suspension handle it ok. Lifting is a last resort.

Depends on how much you carry in the back on a regular basis. I carry a couple hundred pounds in the back as a regular work gear load and haven't noticed any reduction in ride quality. I had 3 full grown men and that load in it last week and it rode like an older and mushier Cadillac. And both of the passengers commented on how nice the ride was compared to their trucks.

Generally speaking, the more weight (within reason), the softer the ride. At any rate, I've done some tailgating at different events and had a few people (400+lbs) sitting on the rear end without it even squatting down. It'll take a LOT more than 130lbs.

Just say no to butt sag!

Here is what about 300 lbs can do to stock suspension. Granted the Tiregate carrier and the tire are back aways, but it basically made my truck's butt sag to the point that my departure angle was terrible. OME springs and Billstein 5100s cleared it right up!
