Would those quick fist mounts work? And would I be able to mount it vertically? I have a 96 if that makes a difference
Maybe a fire extinguisher mount n bolt to floor?

Vertical would be the best position, because c02 is a liquid, you want the vapors off the top not liquid into your regulator. No reason those mounts shouldn't work
Built my CO2 tank mount over the past few days. Basically, behind the plastic, I welded in a cross member that this bolts into. You can basically just spin the actual clamp part off in about 15 seconds and it will be as if nothing was ever there before. Super beefy, hoping it doesn't move. All I have to do is roll down the rear window to air up.

This might help
Here is how I mounted mine.
did you drill it into the floor? or make a mount to the side? and where did you get that bracket?
The bracket came with the tank when I ordered it. I think I ordered it all from TRDPARTS4U and it is made by "The Source".
It is drilled into the plastic panel and then it has two fairly stout pieces of metal that go behind the panel that act as a brace. I believe I then put one screw in the floor so it would keep the bottom from moving around and loosening up the side mount.
still trying to figure out what he welded. ill try and figure it out and post results here.
Behind that interior plastic piece, you'll see a metal brace near the fuel filler, and then you have the wheel well. I welded in a boxed piece of steel in-between those 2 pieces of metal and that is what my CO2 mount screws on to.
I should have taken more pictures, my bad.
