moving floor rear floor mats

2010 Limited without 3rd roll. How to make them stay put? Every time someone rides in the back both floor mats get pushed into up under the seat. It gets curled up and jammed under front seat. Velcro or is it just bad design from Toyota? They are factory mats and not too many people ride back there, once a month if I am lucky?

I always use a carpet stapler. Works like a charm.

2014 SR5 with factory mats.

We take a fishing trip every weekend and there are always two adults in the back. I have throw pillows in mine because we take long trips and I'm sure that the guys are tossing and turning in the back trying to find the best napping position.

Never had a problem with the mats moving. They stay put pretty well just on their own. Mine have little cleats on the underside. If yours are flat on the bottom, that may be the issue.

I'm with thor-norcal doesn't do that on mine & I carry around my son's buddies who are all big boys (hoopsters) IDK mine are just oem weather mats .
