Moving the Knock Sensor

Hey

I've read in a few places about guys moving the knock sensor to the engine hook. I can't find the write up. yes I searched both this forum and yotatech.

Anybody have the link or the information? I got my engine broken down and this is a good time to do these modifications.

What is the advantage of moving the knock sensor?

I would assume if his knock sensor or wiring goes bad, it would be much easier to fix it then by removing the intake Plenum, vacuum hoses, etc.
