1st gen TRD Supercharger! 2step colder plugs, 170 degree t-stat.
ISR mod and deckplate, independent fogs.
Sound: Kenwood HU, JL 6.5" components (front) and 5.25" coaxial (rear), 12" Diesel Audio 1000W in custom box/drawer unit
Matched front tint
CBI DLBs
Projector swap with paint matched shrouds

Custom rack, CBI front and rear bumpers, skids, and sliders

I've had the runner in my posession for just over 3 months now and I already started making some small but impressive changes. Picked it up off my mom who had it since new but decided to give it me.

Started by putting on some 265/75/16 Duratracs, removing the running boards and re-painting the roof rack and spoiler.

(Sorry about the dirty pic)

Then i went and played a little to check the flex.

Not too terrible for a stock rig, but I still cant wait to get a lift and some armor!

I'm definitely in need of a good trail run! Especially now that i have gotten the plasti-dip on my wheels finished!

So i decided to plasti-dip my emblems, grill and my tails (stays better than nightshades). While i was outside, and it was sunny, i got some better pics of my wheels too. So here's an update!

oh ya.. I almost forgot, I also got around to doing the isr mod. I had a leftover pipe that I forgot to send off with my old car, so i chopped it up and slapped 'er in!

yeah i did mine last summer with night shade and they had faded to what they are now. hows ur light output with plasdip

its not too shabby... but i think i may have done one too many coats, cause when its in the right light you cant see squat...

have u thought about tinting your windows?
im jw cuz its something that stands out. i have the exact same 4runner as u do. i like the look of no running boards but i dont like mud getting all over my body. i also want a lift... so sad... but its good to get more pictures of another rig of the same color so i can see what mine would look like if i change anything. props!

beautimus - I'm in love with them thar Duratracs. Hopefully getting mine in the next week or two. I, too am curious about plasti-dipping the brake lights. Don't like drawing unwanted attention from the policemens. looks great -

shootmymime - Yes! It drives me nuts! My last car had 15% all'round including a visor strip. That is definitely on the list... at least matching the front windows to the rear. And a lift is very soon to be put on! My saggy suspension is driving me nuts!

afg10000 - I've only put on about 2000 miles but I am absolutely in love with them!

And here it is... the moment of truth...

Granted the picture is at night but the flash is on! I'll get one with the reverse lights on and one during the day tomorrow.

Ok guys so I ended up getting the third brake done today and got some pictures taken during the day.

and here's one with all the lights on

Looking sweet man! By the way I got my front windows tinted to match for 70 bucks IIRC so not too much cash.

Alright so i've been a little out of the loop on updates. About a week ago I got my front windows "matched" and had a visor strip put in. We ended up putting in 20% because "that's what the rear is, i have a runner too" then i come to find out the rear is 22.5% not too big a deal. i'll probably just throw some 50% over top the back anyways so not a big deal. (my last car had 15% all around)

The other big thing i did was the fog light mod. nothing too hard but my roommate and i were installing some piaa fogs on his jeep and had plenty of extra wire laying around after.

Also i started pulling triggers on my lift! I'm going with tundra coils in the front and either 7 or 8 wraps in the rear. i'm leaning towards the 8 because i am going to start building a cargo box/sub box combo. so the extra weight should offset the height of the coils.

I'll get some pics up asap
