good. it was the worst car that i ever bought and i think you would too coming from a 4runner (big shock). space wise, its like comparing a baby stroller to a garden shed.

Sounds like a bullet well dodged... I will tell ya, being out here at overland expo I was not at all impressed with the fj setups. They were all super cluttered.

Back in boring old Wisconsin, its good to be home but I still miss what AZ had to offer.

Pulled the tool box out the back of the 4runner so we can go to the drive-in. I need to get some heavier springs lol this is where I want it to sit.

I am not someone who has a pretty vehicle (eg mall crawler) that won't use it what it's built for. That being said my paint was pretty shitty, it felt like sand paper, so I took a friends advice and clay bar'ed the truck. It was a pretty easy, but time consuming process, MY GOODNESS though! It worked awesome! my paint looks and more importantly feels amazing now!!! I used this mothers kit off of amazon for $12 and some change:

It came with a free bottle of car wash as well, which was a very nice surprise. All you have to do is spray down the truck section by section, glide the clay without pushing over the wet area a few times and then dry it off. On the clay bar you will see years of nasty black dirt that has collected in your paint. It took me about 4 hours to do the whole truck, but as you can see/feel it was totally worth it!

Haha I do love Wisconsin, but back home there is nothing to do with the truck, up north that's another story lol. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else

Thanks! the pictures really don't do it much justice, but I am really happy with it.

Now I just need to get all of my pictures up from Overland Expo and wheeling in AZ and my build will be up to date lol!

3d printed a battery tray for the trailer. Stronger than any plastic tray I could buy and I get the satisfaction of knowing I made it.

I have what used to be a davinci 1.0. It's been modified and hacked up and now its better than a makerbot (not that it takes much lol). I am working on building my own right now though with a 18" x18" x20" build volume.

I built my own 2 years ago with that volume, the heated bed heats the entire room. the main problem is i just cannot melt the plastic any faster, its a limitation of the diameter.

Yeah I know what your saying there. Thats why I'm gonna enclose it and have a selectable tri or quad head with a e3d volcano as one of the heads. That thing is a beast. On my current one it can fill the bed in 4 hours. Thats actually how long it took to do the battery tray.
