Man, I love this Runner!!

I am missing something, I'm sure but what is this "color match"

people speak of?

Please elaborate.

Thanks man!

And all that they're referring to is the bumper color matching the body color.

It looks amazing. I was getting the impression "color match"
may in fact refer to a specific product as opposed to just the fact that
the colors matched.

How did you do it?

To make sure you get the correct paint you just used the color code on the driver side door jam when ordering the paint.

I had my bumpers rhino lined first, then painted.

Thank you. That makes sense now.

I could tell the surface was bedliner but never considered
that you'd used both.

Really cool results!
Thanks for schooling me on that. Might have to nab that
color matched bedliner vibe some day.

Well I have been battling how to run a spare tire for awhile now. Currently I do not have one on the vehicle. I toss my original spare when I go to hit the trails but that's not good enough.

My temporary solution is going to be to find a semi used 285/75/16 and mount it to my spare tire rim.

Now for the fun part, where and how to mount the tire...

I've put some serious thought into this and have came up with one solution. I don't ever haul anything so why not look into a hitch tire carrier? So I did my research and holy cow, there is multiple options out there but nothing reasonably priced. To me it seems unreasonable to pay $300+ for 3' of square tubing and a plate with wheel studs.

I did a little more research last night and today I began cutting some scrap square tubing I found laying around. Here what I plan on doing .

A little rusty but nothing a buffer can't fix.

All cleaned up. Most of the cuts complete.

Most of it welded it up.

I thought I was almost done until I realized I welded the hinge plate to the wrong side!! :(

Looks like I have to redo the bottom section now. But other than that it's coming out smoothly. I am hoping to have it done by next Friday.

Well it’s been a while since I’ve posted something up here. A lot has changed since my last post. I ended up throwing that Hitch tire carrier out when I realized I make it to short. My full size spare would not fit. Haha

Lucky for me, I found a killer deal on CL on a 285/75/16 TOYO MT. I got it for $50, and it was brand new!!

This is how I have it mounted up.

Finally got a swing out!! My buddy that built the bumper ended up making this sweet swing out! Since we didn’t want to mess with the bedliner he ended up making it a bolt on piece. I’ve taking wheeling quite a few time and it has held up nicely. Everything is still tight and working properly. My only concern was the weight, it is a bit heavier than I wanted. I ended up replacing my 3” Toytec Rear Coils with some Superflex and they seem to handle the weight better.

Here’s a picture of the swing out with the Rotopax.

What LED Bulbs did you use for the cluster and the dash lighting and what types of t bulbs did the entire dash lighting take think its 2 or 3 different types of t bulbs ?

Finally got my interior LEDs installed. Well most of them, I need to look into how to swap power outlet ring and the clock. If any of you guys still have a swatch sample in red PM me and I'll send a few bucks your way for it.

While I had the dash all torn a part I also moved my Scanguage and hooked up my 6 Switch Plate with OTRATTW Switches. I went with red lower independence and green when the switch is turned on. I am really happy with the way everything came out. Especially the OTRATTW switches, I feel like the Contura XIV go well with the rest of the interior.

Lastly, I hooked up my ARB High Output Air Compressor. Used extracting holes to mount it on the passenger side. Wiring was a breeze.

Love these rock sliders have them on my rigs also and dig the color match bumpers and that red is gorgeous nice build bro I have seen these wheels in red also dig the matte bronze though

It's been 4 weeks since I installed the SPC UCAs and haven't had any issues. I did have to a little trimming on the inside of my flares to stop some running.

I also got some custom rock sliders installed. They turned out great!
