Mud Flap question

I have a 2015 and thinking about removing the front mud flaps. Maybe the rears too.

Has anyone taken off their mud flaps? Or trimmed them down?

Seems like if you simply take them off, you end up taking off much of the liner for the window wells, which I don't think will look good at all.

Took mine off several weeks ago. You can take the fronts off without an issue.

You'll see how I spent $15 and made an awesome fill-in solution. Better than trimming the rears down in my opinion.

I trimmed the overly long rear flaps, they look much better, could even trim them more, especially to avoid having to fill the spot.
When I first installed my wheel spacers I had the fronts off and it looked fine, but I also trimmed them to lessen rubbing and put them back on.
The front can easily be removed and still look right. The rear need trimming or some sort of replacement.

The 10-13 models had shorter flaps. I know because I had a '12 TE and now a '15 SR5. I also know because I get a lot less crap (dirt, mud, tar, paint, dead animal guts) on the side of my new one.

I removed my front ones, and trimmed down my rear's. I think it looks cool with a little bit of dirt up the sides of the vehicle =D

Plus as I tell my son all the time, "a little dirt never hurt anyone."
