anyone know where I can purchase front mud flaps for my 97 4runner. I suppose it would be the mud flaps that goes flush with the oem fender flares, not the extended fender flares. I took off my running boards and it looks a bit naked. Plus im getting rocks flying and chipping my side doors.

yeah, when you find them post up the price, i wont remove the boards till i get mud flaps for the scratching and chipping.

that thread is correct, i just ordered some for my 1997 from Toyota of Dallas as well. i think about $70 shipped.

what a rip-off, its a piece of molded plastic.

They are discontinued, $70 sounds like a deal, especially since it's a real Toyota part. Everything's gonna be marked up if you can only get it through the dealer and they aren't made anymore

I just got a set of front mudflaps for my 98 limited. They are not OEM or even made for a 4Runner, but they seem to be doing a pretty good job so far. I was getting worried about rocks chipping my paint, so this was a cheap preventative measure.

For anyone who is interested, I got these at SPL/GUARDS OF RD BLK by Plasticolor - Part 577 - Advance Auto Parts.

They do require to be drilled in (for Limiteds anyway), unless you want to use the existing holes.

Nice, I got some similar to those. I used the bolts that were already in the flare and drilled 2 new holes. Looks good

KellyJ - Thanks! Actually, I did a search and found your thread about front mudflaps and used that site you provided. So yeah, thanks for your recommendation!
