offroad lights are supposed to hang below the bar......i've seen one in chicago installed with offroad lights.....he had them below the bar and it looks great.

looks great noloc!
Mine gets here at the earliest, tomorrow! But I'm not holding my breath. I am not going to rule out the lights. I don't know if it would really do me any good, but I would like to have another switch to flip inside. Noloc, did you see the lights Autoanything put up there as a suggested additional order? They were a cool oval shape. I think they would look good where Trance is talking about, but I wish there was a way to do it between the bars, which was my first impression of where they would logically go.

Noloc, it looks great and I'm happy to see you finally have your ride in the avatar. I was about to say that I like pic 3 when I saw you used it in your avatar. The angles you took were perfect and I think will help others in their decision.

Noloc & Trance: You keepin that license plate on there? I understand the cop thing, but man it would look a lot better without. I'm going to risk it. I had my Mustang for nearly 10 years without a front plate and didn't have a problem. I knew people in Santa Barbara that had some problems when they were parked on certain streets, so I had it in my trunk and would attach it occassionally. Even putting it in the front window when parked would show some initiative and may prevent a ticket. I guess it is still a risk and is similar to why people don't tint their side windows.

After what Trance said, I'm not going to rule out the off-road lights either. Maybe when I get bored with the new look I'll put them it. If I do everything now I'll eventually get bored with the whole truck ( NOT !!! hahaha) Thanks for the comments about my 4Runner. I take much pride in keeping in clean and making it stand out.

I've been waiting so long to finally update my avatar !! I'm pretty thrilled on how it looks as well.

As far as the license plate, although I agree it would look much better without it, I'm going to leave it on. I'm sure one day I'll run into some cop that will complain about it. But, at least I can say it's still on there and I can relocate it lower.

Lux - when you get yours installed take alot of pictures !!!

You think? You and Trance have covered it pretty well. No, what am I saying, if you have checked my gallery thread recently you will notice I have been taking all kinds of pictures of everything. It is kinda neat seeing the progression.

my friend just got ticketed for no front plate....so i'm keeping mine! good luck with both your rides, noloc and luxury. i'm sure there are pleanty of mods to come (especially you luxury)!

P.S. the lights i've seen that hang off the lower bar were just regular PIAA round ones and i thought they looked good. I would do it but i don't want an offroad look.

So, I'm thinking I might go with this next with a heated seat option once I save up the money... Any thoughts?

Where in the F did you find those. They are sweet! I've already got my leather and heated seats but if I didn't that would be at the top of my expensive list. Hello, go for it. Put everything else on hold and get that. I repeat, where did that come from and what else is undoubtably on that runner?

I'm not exactly sure. I have to look into it. Apparently you have to buy them at a local installer/distributor. I'm headed there today to see what they offer them for. I'll let you know.

I was looking forsome of the other classic soft trim accessories when I stumbled on this that might give you an idea on the cost of the seats: "The company Classic Soft Trim classicsofttrim.com can put you with a dealer for leather seats. I paid $995 for my 04 Tacoma for both seats leathered." From HERE.

Noloc,

The bull bar looks great! Good job.

Thanks for posting that leather info... now I have something else on the wish list.. :D Let us know what you hear back on the cost...

Here's the news. I can get the leather kit custom made and shipped to me for $824. I still need to contact a local installer to see how much they would charge me to install it. I don't think I would have the patience or the skill to install it myself.

Wow! That was some quick turnaround time. Does it include anything other than the front two seats and headrests? I don't know if I said it before, or if it goes without saying, but I like them better than my stock leather. I hope the shipping goes smoother than with your bull bar. Did you specify that you didn't want DHL?

Oh, and you "save up the money" really fast!

Lux.... this is actually for the full kit.. front and rear seats with the TRD logo. I'm still contemplating it. I'm going to ask him to send me some sample material. I really do like the look though!!!

You guys seriously need to stop posting this kind of stuff...

My list of things that I now NEED to do to my car is getting out of hand.

According to the sales rep, the front seat are full leather. It only the rear seats that have leather inserts and vinyl the rest of the areas. A premium kit would have leather on the seating surfaces of the rear seats. It adds about $120 to the price.

Tell me about it. I have been keeping a list on the first post of the link in my signature and the list is getting OOC. I haven't even included all the things I want to do relative to the nav......and the list is still growing everyday. Notice my list of things I've decided against is smaller than my To Do List.

Do it. $120 ain't much to get the entire area. Is he going to send you a sample?
