My 04' Runner...

Thanks for the compliments guys!!! I waited months to put these wheels b/c of the weather. Now, I think it was definitely worth the wait. I'm going to post some pictures of the door sills later on tonight. So, keep posted.

Tire Review:

It's been about two days now and let me say that these tires are GREAT!! There's absolutely no extra road noise from them. They feel really smooth on the highway and they look great. Anyone looking for a set of performance tires without sacrificing comfort should definitely go with a set like these...

Picked up the Rims from a place in Florida (Sound of Speed Performance). Supposedly they now have a version of these same wheels that accept the tire pressure monitoring system.

I just thought that i would say that i hate you and everything that you stand for.

Your efing rig looks sick. I usually enjoy subtle details on a ride, but man those rims are in your face and look perfect. Great taste man, absoultely stunning.

One other question. how long. (approx) did it take to hook up the rear lights

D

Boy am I glad I read the rest of your reply.... hahahaha for a minute there I thought you were bashing me.... :) Thanks for the compliment...

As far as the rear lights... it took me about an hour or so to drill the hole in the reflectors, 20-30 mins to wire everything up... 30-45 mins to install them back on the rig... and a lifetime to stare at them in utter disbelief that I was able to pull it off myself... hahahaha .... it's fairly easy... take your time and it will come out perfect. If you run LEDs like I did, you'll have to choose between either just parking lights, just turn signals/brake indicators, or a separate switch for them like another member did. Personally.. I think the LEDs look way better at night.

BWAAAAAAAAAAA. Sorry dude. And bash you, no efing way. We're all a big "fam" up in here, so even if i didn't like your rig, i would tell you in a nice way. But to each is own. And damn your rig looks really nice

Oh, so you mean someone that is "retarted" as far as electronics go, i can do it.

Trust me... I thought twice about it before I decided to do it. But in the end... with the instructions provided... it's cake !!! Just make sure you wire everything up correctly and get different size splices for the wires. You'll need it.

Not to hijack or anything, just wondering if you're ever going to come to a meet, so i can check the rig and meet another runnaaaaa owner.

I've been itching to go to one...just haven't had the opportunity... let me know when and where... I'm actually headed down to the Westchester area for Memorial Weekend. So if you're around...

There is actually a meet in ft.lee at bobby's, brother-in-laws shop to do some installations and chill. It is going to be more like a tech session. We are going to install a lift and do some other mods to some trucks. Gunna eat, b.s and drink some beers

It is going down on the 21st of may. I think

You down?

I'm up near Rochester, NY. So, it's a bit of a hike for me. I wish it was the following weekend !!! That's actually when I'm headed down there to see my family anyway. That weekend I have to attend a friend's wedding. Sorry guys !!! Anyone want to meet up the weekend I'm down?
