OK, finally got TRD pro shocks installed today on T4R with KDSS.
I did not have too much off road testing with KDSS and stock shocks, but it felt more softer, like "smooth waving on a sea boat" like my GF describes and she always was motion sick from this, but it feels more rigid with TRD shocks when slow driving on streets with bumps. Less roll when cornering on high speeds.
My question to ty.goins, you mentioned about natural lift from TRD susp. compare to stock, unofrtunatelly I did not measured height with stock shocks, but with TRD pro shocks from the ground via wheel center to the lower edge of fender is 37" rear and 36.5" front.
I drove to Toyota dealer and compared with SR5, has same height and TRD pro which is 1/2 inch higher then mine T4R with KDSS and TRD pro shocks.
I wonder what height you ve have now after installation. Is there something my dealer missed, I don think I gain any height compare to stock SR5.
Also when I looked at TRD pro stock 4runner the distance between bump stop is at least 1/2" more then on mine KDSS with trd pro shocks.
