I made some body mount plates for the chop I did earlier this year. Made some templates out of cardboard and cut them out of some scrap I had laying around the shop. I tacked them in and ground them smooth and coated with some undercoating.:thumb:

I won tires from a Yokohama contest about a month ago...well they finally showed up! I mounted them up to some 2016 4runner SR5 wheels I bedlined. I also had to cut the bumper up a bit and did a body mount chop. I'm really liking how they turned out! :bigok:

These are my first set of M/T tires. While they are louder than the A/T's I've had, they aren't too bad for ride quality. They are absolute beasts in the dirt and mud and actually are pretty good in the snow.

They balanced out really good and are wearing good as well.

The bad...well, this size makes my 4runner a dog and a gas hog! I really need to re-gear, but that's not in the cards right now. I'm averaging 14 MPG, but it is what it is!

Tossed on some Toytec 1/4" spacers on the front of my rig today. I recieved about 1/2" of lift and it makes it look so much better and level. :dancin:

(Don't mind the salt and grime..first day above -20 was today!)

Been hearing a slight "clunk" when taking left turns lately. Today I crawled underneath and...well....shit.:mad2:

Looks like it's time for a new LCA on the passenger side. I just got an alignment too...FML. I've found LCA's from Camelback Toyota for about $280 so looks like I'll be going that route. I'd prefer to just rebuild the ones I have, but I don't feel like messing with pressing that corroded shit out.

Installed a rear OME trim packer on my drivers side spring. I still have about a 1-1/4" difference in height compared to the passenger to drivers side. Oh well...it isn't as bad as it was.:doh:

Also ordered a 1A auto LCA for my passenger side. Saw nothing but good reviews and they were over $200 cheaper than OEM. If they don't last I can always rebuild my stock one and reinstall it.:biggrin2:

Got the new control arm installed with SPC hardware. Install went super smooth. Getting it aligned tomorrow. Turns out the bushings on my old control arm were worn out as well. 190K miles on it will do that! No more thud when turning!:banana:

Went full send mode this afternoon. May have gotten a few battle scars on a rock ledge climb. 4runner made it up though! Time for a new steel bumper?:naughty:

Love the bed idea. We stopped camping because we got older and hated the text thing. Backs kill us now. lol. Will need to look into this for my wife 2003 4runner.

I'll be installing a new timing belt, water pump, etc this coming weekend. Any tips or secrets I should know? Also, how much coolant does the engine and radiator hold? I'm hoping I can break loose the crank bolt with a 1/2 inch impact. I'm not going to try the starter bump trick...seems a bit sketchy to me.

I received my tire carrier yesterday from Wilco Offroad. Got it all assembled and installed!

For my license plate, I fabbed up a mount at work and installed an LED light I had in my toolbox. Then I bedlined it. I think it works pretty good for having $0 invested.

Also just placed an order with RCI for some sliders since they're having a tax sale.
