My 98 Limited

My LEDs came in the mail yesterday and I installed it today. I ordered 3WLED-NWHP5: Natural White &
574-CWHP3: Cool White. I ordered the wrong color for my cluster, so I just ordered another 3 of the cool white and more of the 74s. Also installed some LEDs in my FMU.

i used a 2 part epoxy i got from a friend that works at a body shop its practically like a plastic weld deal. im sure there is something out there. i would never use bondo on the console since it will flex and ultimately crack.

P.S. your ac controls look to be evenly lit and not yellowish white in them. did you modify anything?

Here are afew pictures of my console during the process of making it.

No modifications at all. Just took the old bulbs out and installed the new 1s from Super Brite LEDs. The rear of my hybrid console is held in by fiberglass and resin. Used to work with fiberglass since I was a little kid growing up surfing. Brought back a lot of memories smelling the dust as I shaved some spots off.

Got it from EBAY and it was the only 1. Everything else was mechanical. Since I did the digital FMU from the Hilux Surf, I figured get the digital from the Prado. It has 4 more features than the Surf, but not as pretty. The Prado has a colored screen like the Surf, but only came in Limited. I found a company that has the colored screens, but they only ship in Europe.

Hope this arrives in time for me to get it installed before the NW OVERLAND RALLY. Their coming in via Japan. I accidentally bid on an extra Smoke LED Taillamp so it's going to be for sale when it arrives. If I don't end up selling it I'll just give it to my younger brother for his birthday.

So my wing came in Yesterday and my Smoke LED TAILLAMP came in today. Both came from Japan and installed both. Just have to wire to the switch and I'm golden.

I've been sick for the past week, so I did something small today. I replaced my front window sprayer that's on the hood with some 01 RAV4 ones. The RAV4 nozzle has 3 holes per side compared to the stock 2 hole 4runner nozzle. Bolts right in and covers the upper/lower part of the window. Me Likey!

This system is bad a$$. My friend back home in Oahu,HI had this in his truck and we used it to wash off after surfing. I told him that I had to have it and ordered it a week later when I came back to WA.

Mahaloz and I built both. I truly miss my 80 series Landcruiser

Yes it is. Last year my 16yr old son and nephew slept up in the tent all last summer. I told him hell no this summer. So I built him a sleeping platform in the truck. I used the Annex as a night time bathroom, instead of walking outside.

I purchased this at the NW OVERLAND RALLY. I just put it on because I forgot I bought it. I found it cleaning up the back of the truck.

I went to the rally from Thursday - Saturday morning. Drove all the way South to home. Then left 2 hrs to drive to Idaho. Took the keikiz to the Silverwood Theme park from Saturday night - Monday morning. Then drove to Leavenworth. Then drove to Renton to eat @ The Feast Buffet. Finally drove home. That's why I just forgot
