I say you get banned until pics are posted. I'm looking forward to your review of the TW's as they will most likely be my next tire.

I know this wasn't directed at me but...I purchased the TW AT's and they grip well in the rain, a little more noise than I would have thought but not bad. Haven't had them off-road just yet. I'm having issues getting two of the tires to balance out so I can drive on them.

Started the process with TW to try and have them replace them.

This is exactly what I'm going with... although not 100% sure on what color to paint the LC wheels. I guess if I go black my truck can be your twin brother out west... ha.

Anyway... did you end up putting the bigger 231mm brakes on? If so, I'd love to know how you dealt with clearance issues on the LC wheels.

You'll be grinding then. The LC wheels don't clear the 231's unfortunately.

Not so fast. It still needs the 4Runner oil pan and oil cooler...oh and I took the valve covers to the shop because despite all my efforts I cannot get the sparkplug tube seals out.

So, I'm having some rubbing issues when making a hard right turn. Sounds like the rF wheels is rubbing the back of the inner wheel well. Going to have to grab a hammer and do a little persuading.

Little update:

My boy Zach (YotaZach85) did some serious wrenching on it for me. I've been incredibly busy with work and I trust Zach to wrench on my truck more than I do the dealership or even myself.

New Aisin Clutch kit (with all new bearings)
Flywheel machined (although it looked good anyway)
New OEM rear main seal
New AirCabinMan Timing Belt/Water Pimp kit
New steering rack bushings
New downstream O2 sensor
New Fuel filter.

Needless to say, it's running great, clutch feels awesome (176K out of the original, not bad) and it starts with just a touch of the key. This things is as good, if not better, than any other 3rd Gen out there now.

Would you mind posting your hub to fender measurements for this lift?
What are the color codes on your LC springs?

I'll trade you for photos and measurements on the 231 tundra caliper clearance on the LC wheels

Also, how do you like the ride of that suspension? Care to make comments to compare to the suspension on your other rides?

I'll try to measure it tomorrow, been really busy.

I think the codes were light blue, purple, pink. Or something like that. I'll have to look again, I forget.

I love the ride, it's not harsh at all. Rides much nicer than my other '99 on talls with 1/4" top hat/906's with Bilstein HD's did. It wanders a bit on the road when changing lanes at speed but otherwise it's great. I think it's actually the angle of my rear sway bar, Zach is suppose to fab me up some brackets for it to put it back at a better angle. Although I think extended links will do the same thing.

All in all I'm very happy with it. If anything, it's a little too tall for me for everyday. it's a pain in the ass when I'm in Center City and need to garage park it. I have to lift my 7 year old into it. My wife hates it. .

So far I've had luck with the parking garages down here. I park at one on 15th, about three blocks down from Market.

My office is actually out in Maple Glen. When I'm down there it's usually to meet a client. But maybe if I catch a late afternoon appointment we can hit a happy hour down there. :beer:
