Any concerns I should have from the added weight up front from the Southern Style Slimline bumper with this suspension set up?

i used the 1.5: daystar spacers but swapped them out for SAW coils.

well I bit the bullet and ordered the Toytec Boss lift. Mainly because it will allow me to add lift once I put some heavy armor on the truck. I hope to have it installed in a week and a half. Now to pick a tire size......

Nice! I was reading your build. Seem to have similar ideas. Want to lift with the intention of added more armor later. I have been looking at the OME kit and am now looking at the Toytec Boss kit as well. Curious about what you think of it? What made you go with the Toytec? Also definitely interested in the tire you choose. I'm torn between bfg 275s or 285s. Worried about rubbing.

[MENTION=136795]Irishcav17[/MENTION] I haven't gotten the lift installed yet. Still waiting for it to be delivered. Should have it in next week sometime.

I also went with 285/70/17 bfg ko2's on 17x8.5" wheels with zero offset. I always wanted the larger tire (to be honest I like how it looks better) but I was worried about rubbing. I spoke to a local shop that is going to do the install. One of the mechanics owns a 2014 trail with a 3" lift and same size tires. He assured me rubbing would be minimal with removing mud flap and pushing the fender liner forward a bit.

I'll keep you posted once it's all on the truck. In the meantime, I'm waiting for my weathertech window guards and debating painting my front/rear bumper guards black.

Well here it is. Toytec boss lift installed with my new wheels and tires. 17x8.5 Method Roost with 285/70/17 BFG KO2's. Currently, it's still a little too raked for my taste. Waiting for it to settle before raising the front a bit and doing alignment. Hopefully it levels out a bit.

No rubbing yet. But I did remove mudflaps and push the fender liner forward. The ride is definitely more stiff than stock. You feel the small bumps in the road more. But it also feels more grounded in handling. So far I like it.

How did you push the fender liner forward?

[MENTION=136795]Irishcav17[/MENTION] I didn't do it, the shop did it. But from my research it looks like you have to remove the screws where the liner secures at the bottom, push it forward, and reattach the screws

Just updating my plans for this build.

I blacked out my rear emblems and my rear bumper valance today. Plastidip on the emblems, and vinyl wrap on the bumper. First time trying vinyl wrap. Watching videos on this, they all make it look so easy. It's not that easy. I mean, it's not rocket science, but it requires a ton of patience and finesse. There's quite a bit of flaws, luckily they are all on the underside and not very visible.

I was going to vinyl wrap the front bumper valance too, but after going through the rear, I think I will just plastdip the front and take the easy way out haha.

Up next is ordering some sliders. I was going to go shrockworks, but I've heard they take a very long time. I'm now considering budbuilt sliders with the bump out and full tread. But man are they pricey!

I have a couple. Still waiting on the lift kit to come. Went with icon stage 2. Then tires with it.

Just got the tent this weekend.
