After my 2nd gen being up and down over the last month and a half, Its finally on the road again. Now my build can start. Things that are already done: K&N cold air intake w/ a custom made splash guard, and a lot of maintenance things that havent been done by previous owners. First thing this week is exhaust. I have 2 1/2" pipe with a cat delete to a magnaflow muffler. Then this weekend i'm going to install the 4.56 gears. Pics to come soon. Here are the pics of her in her current state.

Looking foward to seeing what you do with it. Are you rocking a 5 speed or an auto transmission? Love the red, I have the same color, but that gawd awfull neon green plenum and whatever that box is on the front of the engine bay really needs to go.

LMAO I love my neon green plenum. Its also glow in the dark. Why? You may ask. Because i had the paint and wanted it to glow in the dark lol. The greeen box is my splash guard for my cold air intake so i dont suck water in it. It works like a dream.

I have a manual trans. Im planning on building a 4.3 chevy v6 for the engine. I have a procomp 4 or 6 inch lift i pulled from my parts truck. A 3" body lift also from the parts truck. Sliders from parts truck and 4.56 gears from you guessed it the parts truck. Once its done ill beable to run 38's with no problem.

I saw that and genuinely Lol'd. I hate to encourage somone to change from that beauitful red but if you do the whole truck in dam glow in the dark neon green just dont forget the glitter and princess sitckers.

LMAO!!!!!!! No it's going to stay the red color. The neon green would be way to loud for me. Its going to just be red body and the bumpers and sliders are going to be the stock gun metal gray color that they are now. im thinking of doing the exo in the gray as well once i get that far. I am debating on doing the suspension green though just so that it stands out. and i think it will be cool to hide uv tubes under it so i can hit a switch and make the lift glow just for fun.

Rear side defrost? That's not a defroster line, that's the antenna wire for the radio!

Some of the the higher-end head units came with the diversity antenna system which used two antennas for reception.

Ok thanks for the info. I have never seen a side window antenna just the one in the windshield. I guess i never saw a side window defrost either it just made sence that it was a defrost. Thats good news though because my antenna doesn't work and i havent pulled pulled the fender yet to see if it was connected. Explains why the wiring harness for the window had the antenna plug on it. I figured it took a special switch. Glad i never tried to hook power to it. Thanks for the info. Much appreciated

3rd Gen wheels look good! Don't care for the neon glow green engine accents, but to each there own!

Its what I had sitting around. Originally I was going to do the lift and suspension with the glow in the dark paint and the engine with a pic of homer simpson in a hazmat suit on the hood with a wrench lol but now its all going to be paint matched

Front lift is painted and ready to go in this weekend
