My Story
My 2000 4runner Limited

Well I bought this about a year ago with 158k Miles on it and now I have 190k. It is 4x4 and has rear locking differentials. I’m a first time 4Runner owner and so far I love it! I currently live in Big Bear Lake, CA so I needed a good all-purpose car and I couldn’t be happier. Through all the snowstorms from 1’’ to 3’ it plows without any chains on! The projects are slow but they’re getting done one step at a time. I don’t have much pictures cause I haven’t done much but I’ll start updating as I go.

Clean looking runner! I love that grill/color combo, is the grill custom? Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Also, what is the 12V/24V touch control panel? I'd be curious in knowing/seeing what this is.

Just a touch control panel. Cheap, clean, and easy to wire up.

Love the grill and raptor lights. Do you mind sharing what lights you used to do that?

I got the grill and lights from SRQ Fabrications in a group buy on here.

Well I finally finished the ARB compressor install. I routed it from the rear passanger side storage, under the back seats, through the firewall and to the fuse box. Pain in the neck... Heres what I pretty much did.

I wired the raptor lights to my parking lights so once my parking lights are on then so are the raptor lights.

You reminded me to order some interior LEDs. The stock domes are pretty much useless. Keep up the good work man!

Well I received my ARB pump up kit from wheelers and installed it.

Also made a trip to Lowes and got some needed accessories cause the quick attachment wouldn't let me cover the compressor and installed that as well.

Well finally I was able to come around to getting the suspension all on! (Thanks to Yotamasters)
In the process also needed some new LCA’s up front and a new Rack and Pinion. I decided to have some of the parts powder coated since the LC Springs were a little rusted so I included the panhard bar as well with that preparation project. Up next is a rear bumper to even her out.
She now has 212k miles.
(Better pictures to come soon)

Front Springs Question

Hello,
Question for you. I currently have the Tundra 5100's up front (24-261425) with OME 881's. I initially installed them on the 2nd perch and only yielded about 1.75". I immediately yanked them out and put them on the 3rd perch and got exactly 3". Now its been about 20 months and they have settled down to 1.75" again. I'm reluctant to jack them up to the 4th perch for fear of it being far too stiff.

How are you liking the Eibach's? That 620lb rate seems awfully stiff. I'm not running a bumper at the moment, but plan to eventually.

Just FYI I have the Tokico LC shocks in the rear with the OME 890's (plus trim packers). They have held perfectly at 3.25" the entire time.

Any feedback would be apprecaited.

Thanks,
Mike
