breaker bar against the frame, bump start, done. been doing that for years on old as well as new cars.
I got it apart. I used a sexy tool girl to aid me. She held the bar close to the pulley, to prevent the bending of the bolt.
Over tightening is ok? I wouldn't think so.
I'm curious why she is holding brake cleaner.
Follow Durk's DIY and cranking down to 217ft/lbs on the crank bolt should be no problem.
