I talked to my mechanic, but my dad wants to be sure about this. He said, "Get on the 4Runner thing, and ask them, too." Im the only one in my family who likes off-roading, (he has in Infiniti G35). My question...If I got the performance products 1" lift springs, would I need anything else? New shocks, new bars, new whatevers. Anything else?
My dad says I need to be 100% sure...help.

I would assume the PP 1" coils will work with stock shocks...if you put em on, lemme know how they ride...i've been thinkin bout gettin em too

New shocks aren't required but if you gto a ton of miles n the stock units it's wise to replace them too and save on the labor.
Another cost effective option is just to go with '99 OEM coils (one inch taller version) and new OEM shocks which can be had for about $400 or so for the whole setup.

Prices have gone up quite a bit since I shopped there but the coils are about $255 but over at www.shox.com you can get the Tokico shocks which is what the OEM ones are for $209.
Shox also sells the Bils/PP spring setup for $590.
If you can afford the $140 more it would be worth it but the Tokicos and '99 coils aren't bad fro a daily driver with stock off road performance with the 1" more clearance. The PP coils will give you about 2".
It's more of what your budget will allow.
I run the OEM setup and for th intermediate trails I run I do alright but another inch would be nice.
