I've never had a beer from New Belgium Brewing in Asheville, NC that wasn't amazing. Their signature is Fat Tire, which I highly recommend. Definitely my go-to in terms of a craft brew.

As far as whiskey, most people around my neck of the woods are partial to Jack Daniels, but I prefer the flavor of Jim Beam myself. Maybe not the smoothest out there, but I still love it.

I've never had a beer from New Belgium Brewing in Asheville, NC that wasn't amazing. Their signature is Fat Tire, which I highly recommend. Definitely my go-to in terms of a craft brew.

New Belgium is from Colorado, as is Oscar Blues, both of which recently built operations outside of Asheville to expand to the east coast. Asheville certainly has its share of great breweries though, I've always liked Highland Brewing Co and a newer favorite is Hi-wire brewing.

I would be ok with giving North Carolina new Belgium brewery. There are way better breweries in the town of Fort Collins .

And Fat Tire is probably at the bottom of the list for good brew New Belgium makes, IMO.

Citradellic, Rampant and Ranger are all my go-to's and they don't break the budget, like every Ballast Point brew. :madgrin:

I think those are my picks of FTC breweries. They are doing a massive add on to New Belgium, so I'll give it a go when it opens.

Actually, the Anheuser Busch plant has a pretty awesome outdoor area and restaurant. Normally, I snub my nose at AB, but was pleasantly surprised. However, if you're expecting Natty Light on tap, you will be disappointed.

I remember having it about 10yrs ago in Breck on a ski trip...at least I think I remember :cheers:
