That was one main reason for these wheels, 8.5” would have looked weird.

Thanks!! I haven't seen but one other 3rd gen on here with them.
Lost shot of this guy....its removed on going to a new owner this week.
I know, some think I'm crazy, but I just dont NEED it for what my plans are.
Wtf !! Wish I knew you were selling it. I want to supercharge mine but trying to find a good used one is hard.

Some? I think you'll be hard pressed to find ANYONE on here that thinks removing a well-running S/C is a good idea
Was the savings in fuel from not having to run premium one of your main reasonings?

I have intentions of driving this thing west and seeing the views so many get to see. I don't want the issue of something breaking and leaving me stranded due to parts not available. For example, dynamic tensioner seizing and unable to find the parts where I am at. Or the belt snapping, lets say I have a spare and something caused it to fail that I didn't notice. I could go through both belts in BFE and then be stranded again. Altitude changes, in stock configuration, this could cause some issues in some places....and I have zero intentions of installing a 7th injector.
Also, the funds will go to useful upgrades so that I can enjoy getting out and seeing the great country.
So for me, the SC is not needed, and I can tolerate every day driving without it. I'm crazy, I know.

Good points though. Well I love that you're building it exactly how you want it, and know just what you want.
Looking forward to the pictures of adventures to come, and maybe we'll have a chance to meet up sometime if you adventure through Oregon!

That would be awesome. I have full intentions of heading west for some trails in Montana, Colorado, Utah, Arizona, New Mexico, etc.....as much as possible.

Finally able to take it off pavement. My wife wanted to find some of the local waterfalls, and I couldn't be happier that she wanted to go hiking. So we loaded up with my son and went exploring.
We headed off to the Daniel Boone National Forest and hit some forestry roads to start with. Decent condition, gravel, plenty of potholes. About the final mile the road became narrow enough for a vehicle to travel on. With all the rain we have had this past week, there was plenty of mud and wash out to go over. Every so often a trail would start off into the woods, and I decided not to explore those without cell reception or another vehicle.
Not bad for having the rear sway bar connected....

Hi-Lift installed using Sonoran Steel's mounts
One of the main interior changes that I made was returning the dash trim to silver as per original. The previous owner painted them black. Being a Sport Edition, I like having that special feature/appearance package.
I sanded down the panel, and found a decent silver to paint them. It's not perfect, but I'm happy
Also changed all the blue LED's to Cool White. Much cleaner look to me.
Mounted a Uniden PRO520XL in place of the ashtray and a Paranoid Fabrications 6 switch panel below the radio in anticipation of some switches later on.
A 5ft Firestik antenna is mounted out back using a SRQ/True North Fab Mount. Honestly, I probably will change this, as the mount is "flimsy" and flexes into the edge of the hatch door.
