My "Fun DD" Build Thread

Purchased a Color Matched Front Grill from the Dealership today!! Pic tomorrow. #NoMoreChrome

Still debating on 2.5" or 3" Front Springs / 1.5" Rear Spring or 2" Rear Springs ?

Small Update:
I have decided on OME 885 Front Springs & Toytec Superflex Rears. Along with the Spidertrax and a few other things.

Grille is in!!

I worked on the ride this weekend. I bed coated the factory front skid and debadged it. I also placed an order .......

Wheeler Offroad Order:
OME 885 Front Springs
Toytec Superflex Rear Springs
Bilstein 5100 Rear Shocks
Spidertrax 1.25" F/R Spacers (black)

That should give me a nice 3/2 lift and stance.

Now I need to figure out some extended swaybar links. I may order some 95 T4R for the rear. Heard they work great for 2" of lift. May make the fronts. Suggestions???

Got the OEM Mats in today. I also popped on the Spidertrax tonight.

Just Cause ....

I will try to install the suspension this weekend. Pics soon !!!

Installed the front today. It went very smooth. I did the "jack the LCA to compress the spring" approach. Way easier than using a traditional spring compressor.

Overall I love the stance. Could not he happier.

Not sure that is next on the list other than to upgrade the headlight/fog bulbs but do not want to go HID. Any suggestions???

Looks really good!

I am in need of extended swaybar endlinks. I am going to run the '95 4x4 rears but what are yall using for the fronts?

None lol(no front sway on mine).

I would post a WTB for for some brackets to lower the sway mounts if your end links are in good shape. I would think that there are plenty out there after people end up ditching the front sway.

Truck looks great. First thing I did with my 06 SR5 was swap the grill, door handles, and and rear hatch trim for painted parts. "Chrome don't getcha home"...

So do the front sway bar relocation brackets allow more droop in the front?? I thought they just moved them out of the way of the coil.

Took it to the dealership today for an oil change and alignment (now that is has settled). They call me saying my water pump need to be replaced ... $700 :(
