Little update:

I've been having issues with the install of my re-upholstered armrests. It would seem that the 2 different spray adhesives I used, were not strong enough to hold the vinyl to the armrest. I tried 3M 77, and another brand that was recommended by the staff at an upholstery store... and no luck!

So, enter my next attempt! I was talking with a cousin of mine, who suggested Lepage Heavy Duty Contact Cement. You have to brush it on both surfaces, and then let it sit for 15mins. Once it's nearly dry, you mate the 2 surfaces together. Once they are on there.... it's nearly impossible to take them apart!



Once they were mated... I stapled the crap out of them.... just to be sure!

Couple of updates....

Decided to do the Diff Breather mod....



Saw Bruiser parked in the driveway... and decided it needed to have it's picture taken....



Then I started the long process of wire wheeling my corroded Sport Alloys... and then paint them....

Looks good. I've never heard of anyone using Zinc Chromate to paint over. We always used it at work for exterior equipment mounting. How do you feel about using it on your wheels?

Not sure.... was always told to use it on bare metal. Since I was a kid, an old painter I knew, would spray this stuff on all bare metal he had on a project car, then use another primer on top of that. Apparently the Zinc stuff bonds to the metal, and is a ***** to come off. I'm hoping that the combo of both primers will help my wheels last longer.... time will tell.

FYI, I think it makes the Tacoma look 10x better. Unlike for Mean Green, you don't have any winter tires for it do you?

Not yet.... haven't had any work all summer. I'm gonna be starting a new job with the Rail Road starting on the 23rd of this month... so will have some money coming for both the tires and a lift!

More than just Dairy Queen buddy! lol! We're gonna have to relocate farther North.... so we'll be buying another house. Something with a bigger yard for the kids to play in, and a larger house for us all to live in. Just waiting to find a buyer for our place... and then the family can follow me up north.

It's Duplicolor Graphite.... with Duplicolor clear.
