You bought it just because it had a Hemi?? I'm sorry man, but that is the worst response I could've hoped to read. I'm not hating, it's a decent car. But it's a pig of a car. And with a 46k sticker it's way over priced. I just hope you got an AMAZING deal on it, because you could find a used ZL1 in that price range and it would run circles around the SRT8 Challenger.
For you guys that are worshiping the Hellcat... that thing won't even be able to put that power to the ground with the weak tire setup it'll have from the factory... just saying...
Either way, congrats, as long as you're happy with it, that's all that matters. hope you enjoy it.

Hey guys! I've not been around much because i'm having to much fun cruising around in the new car, well that and spending time on the Challenger forum :hiding:
I gotta say this thing is friggin awesome! I highly recommend this car to anyone suffering a mid-life crisis, It'll cure all that ails you!! :madgrin:
I've already gotten started on some mods. Started out with a Mopar CAI and then the Corsa Extreme cat back exhaust. The thing is that with the 4Runner these don't really do much other than make it sound good. With the Challenger these two mods actually do improve performance along with making it sound a whole lot cooler! Though the sales pitch for each claims 15hp and 20hp respecfully my butt dyno approximates it out to a total of a 20hp gain :eyebrows: I also bought a tuner from DiabloSport and I am currently running their 93 octane canned tune which claims another 15-20hp. :thumb3:
Also had the windows tinted to 20% all around, installed a Mopar front strut tower brace, swapped out the chrome fuel door for a black one, installed an oil catch can and did some other small appearance mods. I also swapped out the 202° t-stat for a 180° stat and lowered all the fan settings 18° to get the whole shebang running a little cooler.
And to stay true to this forum. On Friday I brought the 4Runner down to my local car cleaning guru, Johny Spotless, and had it detailed. He did an awesome job buffing out almost all of the trail pin stripping, but some were a little too deep. Other than those few scratches you would think it just rolled off the showroom floor! :bigok:
