My rear passenger door won't open

So I ****ed up again trying to add sound deadening material to my doors. I must have switched the green and white cables because now my door won't open. Any suggestions on how I fix this? I cannot get the door panel off because the door is locked closed..

You've probably tried this but I'll ask anyways, if you lock all the doors with the remote does it unlock that door?

Ok, this is not intended to be silly or flame at all.

Did you try the manual unlock button at the handle?
I cannot see electronically being the only way to unlock the doors.
Seems that would be a safety issue.

Yeah, it wouldn't budge really bc the wrong cable was on it.

I was able to get the top middle of the panel off the door and reach in w/ some needle nose pliers and pulled on the cable as I grabbed the door handle.

Yeah. Once I was able to force the panel off in the top middle so I could grab at the cable. Getting behind the panel was the hard part.

You got your door open, you will never make that mistake again & you just taught a lot of members "what not to do"!

I did something similar on my RAV4. I missed the plastic door lever when re-installing the actuator. I also had switched on the child safety switch accidentally.

I used a remote camera in the only place I could get to.

Then I used a slim jim to push the lever down and open the door.
