My TRD OR more responsive than my Limited's

I have a couple of 19' Limited's and a 19' TRD OR, at first I thought it was just me but after having six different people (including my wife) drive the Limited and then the TRD OR all of them definitively said the throttle response and acceleration of the TRD OR is better.

Have others had the same experience? I know 20" the wheels and tires on the Limited's weight 6lbs more than the TRD wheels, 75lbs vs 69Lbs, so rotational mass is less for the TRD. Is the Limited experiencing that more parasitic drive train loss because of AWD vs the TRD being in 2WD?

Does Toyota map throttle response and/or transmission shift points differently across the trims?

It’s the 4WD system that causes it although I may be wrong.

I have a 2017 ltd with full time 4wd and I have test driven the SR5 and TRD Pro and they are both more responsive than my limited especially when accelerating from a complete stop. The limited just feels more sluggish.

The AWD system will make any car feel more sluggish. It pulls more on the engine.
