My Tundra Brake, Shocks and V8 Upgrade

All done at once.

Still have my beloved 4runner but added this. Its a 2000 SR5, 2wd, V8 with 108,000 miles on it. With one owner who I believe used it as a work truck on a farm. The bed has been well used!

I got the Tundra to use as a mountain bike truck, shuttle the bikes up the local mountains and ride back down. The 4runnner did this fine but bike racks are always a hassle. Now having the extra space and bed will make it way easier to get more runs in and people, bikes, gear.

It needs some work and isn't perfect but thats exactly what I need to beat the hell out of all summer. Never really wanted to do that to the runner since its so clean.

At the moment I'm thinking of making the 4runner a comfier daily driver since I really don't have the time for wheeling nor the locations with out driving hours to get there. Probably all terrains and put the stock bumper back on so I can carry my spare under the car. Maybe even lower it. Any local guys want a CBI?

So any thoughts on the Tundra or what to do to the Runner?

I have a 2004 TRD (no 4wd unfortunately) and love it. I use to pull my three boats around in the summer. Being small in size (5'7"), I like this old ones better than the 2007+ models.

I'd say to check both belts (this engine has a serp belt on it). Change the tensioner. Check out tundrasolutions.com when you have time.

Believe it or not, go ahead and pull off the front wheels, you probably don't have the 231mms calipers but the original 199mms. Do the upgrade on the Tundra to the 231s as well.
