Yup, in my build around page 6 I think it starts, I have a half-assed write up of what I did. PM me when you get started and I'm happy to walk you through it in more depth if the stuff in my build isn't sufficient, but the way i did it was a little different than most. But I used an 06+ grille and shortened and trimmed it.
 
im in the process of trying to find a grill my color for this mod. i have been thinking about making one that is flat and flush having a small bolt in each corner holding it in place. trying to get ideas on how to make one with no showing bends and might wrap the edge in black door edge trim

[MENTION=72341]NJshadow93[/MENTION] did this and it worked well.

As for color matching, I got paint from automotivetouchup.com and I think it came out perfect. I can't see a difference. I have used it on several things.
 
I think this is what I want to do in '14 - that big chrome schnoz on my truck has to go!

Followed write up with only a couple variations. I used an Oscillating multi-tool to cut out the center portion of the grill. It took less than 5 minutes and does very little damage to the frame. I painted the frame of the grill with plasti-dip. Had great luck with it on my last car. It is very durable. I'll update my post if I have any issues with it holding up on the grill.

In preparing for this mod, I picked up a large roll of the exact same mesh at Home Depot for under $9. It's 96" x 27"...gonna have some leftovers.

I knew it could be done without all that bondo haha this is exactly what I was looking for.. and i'll be doing mine this weekend!!
 
Just got back from home Depot picked up partIcal board and paint and went and bought a jigsaw as well and they were out out stock per mentally so he gave me 33% off the demo model and I got the 7$ protection plan for 2 years if anything happens I get my money back hahah WIN!
